Consorzio Tutela Vini DOC Colli Berici e Vicenza

DOC Colli Berici was born, the first in Italy to include Cabernet franc

1982
July 8

The Consorzio Tutela Vini Colli Berici was born, which since then has been promoting and protecting the Denomination of wine and the territories or Colli Berici, in accordance with the DOC production regulations, and in the interest of all producers and consumers.

Vicenza DOC was born

2001
July 18

The Consorzio Tutela Vini DOC Vicenza was born, which since then carries out activities promoting and protecting the Denomination of wine and the territory of DOC Vicenza

The two consortia move their offices to the current headquarters in Lonigo at Palazzo Pisani, since then renamed Palazzo del Vino

2011

The two consortia join, taking on the current name of Consorzio Tutela Vini DOC Colli Berici and Vicenza

2020

Currently the consortium can count on about 1000 winegrowers and 1200 hectares of land planted with DOC wines in the municipalities affected by the two denominations
